Homemade Popsicles

Have you ever looked at the ingredients of the popsicles in the freezer section of the grocery store? They have some scary ingredients in them! Even the brands that claim to be more “natural” have added flavors, colors, and other ingredients that I can’t pronounce.

That is why I make homemade popsicles for my family instead. While our freezer is quite small (hello camper life), I can I always find room to squeeze these homemade popsicles into back of our little freezer.

The current popsicle mold that I use for my family is a cheap little one that I picked up at Walmart. But once I have more freezer space, I would love to upgrade to this one so that we can make even more popsicle at once!

This popsicle mold is also intriguing because there are only two pieces to it, which means it would be a lot easier to clean and keep track of!

And this mold would be adorable if you have any little ones in your family.

Are Orange Creamsicles Good for You?

This is entirely dependent upon what ingredients you use to make your creamsicles. Commercially made creamsicles have a lot of additives that are not healthy.

But rest assured, this homemade, gently sweetened orange creamsicle recipe has just a few wholesome ingredients that you can feel good about serving to your family!

What is Orange Creamsicle Flavor?

This homemade orange creamsicle recipe has a light and pleasant flavor to it. It has a subtle taste of orange, mixed in with a refreshing cool and creamy taste. It is lightly sweetened to give it the perfect balance in flavor.

This recipe is so delicious! My recipe will yield eight popsicles, however my popsicle mold only makes six popsicles. That means that after I fill up the popsicle molds I have leftover popsicle mix. What do I do with it? Drink it! It makes delicious drink as well as it is reminiscent of an Orange Julius.

What is an Orange Creamsicle Made of?

This healthy orange creamsicle recipe is made with five simple ingredients. With a combination of orange juice, yogurt, milk, vanilla, and just a little bit of coconut sugar, it has wholesome ingredients that are perfect for a summer treat.
