Lemon Honey Tea
A warm and comforting beverage. Perfect for a cold day, or when you are feeling under the weather.
Servings: 1 serving
- 1 tbsp honey raw and unfiltered
- 1 tbsp lemon juice or juice of half a lemon
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar raw and unfiltered
- dash of cinnamon optional
Bring water to boil and pour into cup.
Add the honey, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. Stir.
Version 1: Recipe from above.
Version 2: Complete directions from above, then add a one inch section of thinly sliced ginger to the cup. Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove ginger before drinking.
Version 3: Complete directions from above, then add a peppermint tea bag (link). Allow to steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bag before drinking.
If you are feeling under the weather and want an extra boost, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to any of the above options.
