Slow Cooker Cocoa Roasted Almonds

These cocoa roasted almonds are simply delightful! They are so easy to make, and delicious to eat.

The best part is that these slow cooker cocoa roasted almonds make a great gift.

My family likes to double this recipe and give the almonds as a gift to neighbors and friends for Christmas.

And we get rave reviews on them!

I love how simpe this recipe is. In a season that is filled with many activities, these cocoa roasted almonds are a low stress gift that will please many people.

After the almonds have cooled I put them up in clear plastic bags, use a cute string to tie up the bags, and add a nice little gift tag.

As the lucky recipient of the delicious almonds, I can testify they are a real treat. I especially like that they are so portable, I stick a bag of them in my backpack when I set off for my urban hikes. They are such a special combo of healthy protein and just the right amount of chocolate.. Thank you for sharing the recipe, Maggie. I continue to be amazed at the good things you are able to produce with a slow cooker and instapot. I so enjoyed your last blog about entertaining in less than ideal circumstances-such an inspiration and a reminder about what is important. Merry, Merry Christmas to you and your family
